This is Ralph Severini
As many of you know, I am your interim mayor through the end of 2025.
I am also now running for the 4 year term in the November 4, 2025 election.
Several of my primary goals include:
- Putting an end to legal fees that consumed $398K (22% of your Hideout tax dollar), which is 8 - 10 times what our neighboring communities spend
- Put some of these savings into developing Ross Creek recreational amenities, a community center area, and a decent place to eat
- Maintain a ceiling on future residential growth when it compromises our views
- Commit to everyone having a voice in their community, not just a chosen few
- Build a fresh perspective, emphasizing balanced growth

Thank you, Ralph

ABOUT RALPH AND HIS FAMILY
When my wife Suzanne and I first saw Hideout nearly 9 years ago, we fell in love with the views and sheer beauty of this area. And since 2018, I’ve been a member of either the Hideout Planning Commission or the Town Council, as well as leading our Economic Development Committee and co-leading with Councilman Jonathan Gunn our Wildfire Committee. This is the third town I’ve served on Planning Commissions or Economic Development Committees, so I have experience across 3 towns.
Our daughter Vanessa and her family live close by, near the Retreat at Jordanelle across from Blackrock, with my 9 year old grandson Jackson and son-in-law Zach. Vanessa is a teacher in the Park City School system (Trailside) where my grandson attends school. Our son John, who also worked for Hideout briefly, is now nearing completion of his PhD at Georgetown University.
Here's a few pictures of our family.
